Crash Zone was founded in 2009, after 30 years of working in the music industry Antonio Boyd created Crash Zone Entertainment to give artist a venue to stay true to their vision while supporting a strong commitment to live music, concerts, promotions and events. Our artists perform all genre of music from R&B to Rock, from Rap to Jazz and from Neo Soul to Gospel.

Crash Zone Entertainment is dedicated to Cause Music our artist and management style are focused on true artistic freedom with an emphasis on live music, concerts, and touring. The Crashers are ready to be the featured or opening act for your college tour or at your on campus concerts, festival or event.

ANTONIO B. BOYD

FOUNDER, PRESIDENT & CEO

A DJ, who started spinning house tracks at age 16 under the moniker “DJ HBSquared,” Antonio Boyd is a former on-air radio personality. He has 30 years of experience in concert promotion, concert production, artist management and event planning. Working with artists like Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, Heatwave, Arrested Development, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, 112, the Nappy Roots, jazz great Ramsey Lewis and many others. He has managed many talented artists representing a wide cross-section of music. He has produced festivals, concert series, outdoor concerts, fundraising concert events, and cause-related concert events. He brings a unique perspective to Crash Zone and deeply respects and appreciates the power of live performance.

Vanessa Abron is a public relations professional with expertise in securing positive media coverage for brands in national and local media outlets. Past media coverage includes placements in notable media outlets such as Good Morning America, Extra, The Insider, The Huffington Post, the Associated Press and ABC News to name a few.

Vanessa has served as the Director of Communications for the Community Alliance and Consumer Engagement group at Nielsen, the Media and Communications Manager for Johnson Publishing Company (Ebony Magazine, Jet Magazine and Fashion Fair Cosmetics) and account management positions at agencies such as Hill + Knowlton Strategies (H+K) and Ch’rewd Marketing and Promotions. Within these roles, Vanessa led multicultural and global communications initiatives, public relations strategy development, events management, account management, content development, promotional visibility and media outreach to the consumer, public affairs, and corporate media contacts.

Some of Vanessa’s past client work includes Aflac, Illinois Lottery, Chicago 2016, Pringles, Adidas, Salesforce.com, ComEd, American Optometric Association, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Reebok Interscope Records, Def Jam Recording, and Virgin Records to name a few.

We believe in the power of live performance and real musicianship. We provide a unique opportunity for new artists to get their voice heard in a hurting world. We offer established artists an opportunity to perform at sold out venues on campuses and festivals around the country for causes that are making a difference and changing lives.

ARTIST MANAGEMENT

We represent high caliber artists, music producers, and DJ’s for bookings worldwide. Our artists are all socially conscious and represent a broad range of musical genre from Hip, Hop, and R&B to Neo Soul and Inspirational. As a full-service artist management agency, we provide single event and multiple date tours for our artist from the initial contact to the post-event activities.

EVENT MANAGEMENT

Crash Zone Entertainment sets the bar for successful event production. We develop socially focused live music and entertainment events across the country. For each event, we bring a unique perspective. When working with our customers, we work creatively to achieve their goals and create an experience that will create a lasting bond between the audience, the organizations we represent and their partners.

CONCERT PRODUCTION

We produce events on college campuses and venues across North America, providing a unique opportunity for our artists to connect with a segmented market. In conjunction with each venue, we showcase our artists to a consistently sold-out audience, the result of our street, radio, and social media promotion.
