Brëz, born Fabrice Clerger — is an R&B/Soul singer and songwriter who is no stranger to having his songs heard and connected to civic and social initiatives. His lyrics and passion for many causes are effortless matrimonies.

Raised by loving parents of Haitian descent, Brëz was reared with a strong sense of morals, character, and faith in his hometown of West Palm Beach, Florida. Growing up in the early 90’s, artists like Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Sade, and Musiq Soulchild were some of his favorites. Brëz can most identify with the great Marvin Gaye and his commitment to social change communicated through his music. Brëz is a young man with an old soul.

In 2012, Brëz began songwriting and finding his voice. The following year he released his freshman album entitled, Conviction. On the deluxe edition of the album, he recorded a tribute song to the King Family called, “The Dream Realized”. This song added to The King Center Library & Archives at The King Center in Atlanta, GA. Soon after, Brëz partnered with Naomi Ruth Barber King and the A.D. King Foundation to promote peace and youth empowerment. In March of 2014, Brëz was invited to join Mrs. Naomi King for the Commonwealth Day of Service at the Buckingham Palace—hosted by Queen Elizabeth and the British parliament, in London, UK.

Brëz prolifically sings about one variable in the equation that cannot be absent, and that is LOVE! Releasing his sophomore album, YOU, in 2014, Brëz was compelled to create music with a healing impact. For two consecutive years in 2014 and 2015, he contributed his voice to the global campaign, One Billion Rising in Atlanta, GA—to raise awareness for human trafficking and violence against woman and children.

In 2016, Brëz’s hit single, “Love is the Answer”—featuring the rising Saudi artist, Rotana, was included in President Jimmy Carter’s Human Right’s Defenders Forum at The Carter Center in Atlanta, GA. The re-mastered production of “Love is the Answer” was in collaboration with the Berklee College of Music Contemporary Orchestra and the Berklee Reverence Gospel Choir.

In early 2017, the song was also featured in the Columbia City Ballet Production, “Emanuel: Love Is The Answer” in commemoration of the senseless tragedy at the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC. Most recently, “Love is the Answer” was included in the United Nations’ compilation album, Music to Inspire—featuring Artists Against Human Trafficking. The record helped launch a global campaign to raise awareness and combat human trafficking. Brëz was among the 50 artists who donated their art for the cause, including Grammy Award-winning Quincy Jones and Joss Stone—as well as the legendary Hall & Oates.

Brëz is currently working on his next project—the Love Again EP, which will be released in early 2019. This summer, Brëz will release the highly anticipated single, “Real Love.”
